It’s a sad fact that 94% of all vehicle accidents are caused by human negligence. For occupants of cars, another driver’s negligence will usually lead to only minor injuries. For motorcycle riders, on the other hand, the result is more likely to be major injuries or even death.

Motorcycles occupy less space than cars, and are therefore harder for car drivers to spot. Moreover, motorcycle riders have far less protection than car occupants when they get into a crash. For these reasons, it’s much riskier to ride a motorcycle than to drive a car.
